Your tasks
- Define SW functional safety concept, SW safety mechanisms, SW safety requirements
- Define SW designs, implementation, and verification methods to achieve functional safety standards
- Review of Safety concepts and requirements
- Decompose requirements in different ASIL-Levels
- Review the requirement for the correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO26262
- Perform Software safety analysis (FMEA, DFA)
- Create, maintain, and review work products according to ISO 26262
- Present Software Functional Safety strategy in front of customer, auditors, and other stakeholders
- Provide technical advice to automotive manufacturers and suppliers on ISO26262/ Functional Safety Standards
Your profile
- Min. 3 years’ experience in software development, architecture
- Min. 1 years’ experience in Functional Safety projects
- Education in master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Development
- Experience in ISO 26262-compliant development
- Fluent in German (C1/C2 level) and English
- Deep understanding of complex embedded software systems
- Working knowledge of safety analysis methods (FMEA, DFA)
- Experience in ePowerTrain
- Experience in Requirements Engineering
- Good C or C++ programming skills
- Nice to have: Experience in Inverters, Chargers, Batteries, Experience in software tools like DOORS, JIRA, Confluence
