Your tasks

  • Define SW functional safety concept, SW safety mechanisms, SW safety requirements
  • Define SW designs, implementation, and verification methods to achieve functional safety standards
  • Review of Safety concepts and requirements
  • Decompose requirements in different ASIL-Levels
  • Review the requirement for the correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO26262
  • Perform Software safety analysis (FMEA, DFA)
  • Create, maintain, and review work products according to ISO 26262
  • Present Software Functional Safety strategy in front of customer, auditors, and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical advice to automotive manufacturers and suppliers on ISO26262/ Functional Safety Standards

Your profile

  • Min. 3 years’ experience in software development, architecture
  • Min. 1 years’ experience in Functional Safety projects
  • Education in master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Development
  • Experience in ISO 26262-compliant development
  • Fluent in German (C1/C2 level) and English
  • Deep understanding of complex embedded software systems
  • Working knowledge of safety analysis methods (FMEA, DFA)
  • Experience in ePowerTrain
  • Experience in Requirements Engineering
  • Good C or C++ programming skills
  • Nice to have: Experience in Inverters, Chargers, Batteries, Experience in software tools like DOORS, JIRA, Confluence
