Software Architect - Functional Safety (gn)

Your tasks:
- Define SW functional safety concept, SW safety mechanisms, SW safety requirements and support definition of the functional safety plan.
- Define SW designs, implementation, and verification methods to achieve functional safety standards.
- Review of Safety concepts and requirements.
- Discompose requirements in different ASIL-Levels, if needed.
- Review the requirement for the correctness and completeness against input requirements and ISO26262.
- Perform Software safety analysis.Create, maintain, and review work products according to ISO 26262.
- Present Software Functional Safety strategy in front of customer, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical advice to automotive manufacturers and suppliers on ISO26262/ Functional Safety Standards.
- Discompose requirements in different ASIL-Levels, if needed.
- Possibility to grow inside a team and project in a complete development.
- Analysis of technical deviations for Releases, creation of justifications together with the OEM and supplier.
- Review and documentation of traceability of requirements, implementation and verification coverage.
- Support with the creation of safety plans, DIA, safety cases and other relevant work products.
- Support safety assessments from a technical point.
- Define and improve processes, methods and tools, which are used within the project.
Your Profile
- Min. 7 + years’ experience in development, architecture, and Functional Safety projects.
- About 2 years’ experience in Functional Safety projects.
- Education in master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power Electronics, Mechatronics
- Deep understanding of complex embedded software systems.
- Experience in ePowerTrain (HPEV, Inverter, DCDC charger).
- Experience in Chargers.
- Experience in Batteries.
- Experience in HV safety norms.
- Experience in ISO 26262-Engineering.
- Experience in Requirements Engineering.
- Good C or C++ programming skills.
- Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1).
